This tour starts in the center of Landl, initially heading along the main road towards Bayrischzell. After 400 meters, turn left onto the forest road towards Riedenberg and cycle, with a short section of pushing over the small stream, to Grabenbergalm, the highest point of the tour. The path continues to the inviting Ackernalm (cheese dairy) towards Valepp on the Bavarian side. Before Valepp, turn right and continue over Elendsattel on the north side of Sonnwendjoch down to Grundalm and further to the former Zipflwirt. Then, take the state road back to Landl via Ursprungpass to the starting point.
Tip: The strenuous ascent to Grabenbergalm has the advantage of avoiding the toll road to Ackernalm, which is heavily trafficked on summer weekends.
