A1 - Relaxed cycling to lake Walchsee

This bike tour combines nature, panoramic views, and culinary stops in the Untere Schranne region. Starting from the Innsteg in Kufstein, you follow the right bank of the River Inn downstream heading north along the signposted Inn Cycle Path until you reach the bridge over the Kaiserbach. Immediately afterwards, turn right at Café “Einkehrplatzl” and continue along the Kaiserwinkl cycling route (No. 15). The route leads through the Haflinger village of Ebbs with its impressive church, as well as the districts of Mühltal and Point, before reaching Brand. There, turn right and continue along the Kaiserwinkl route towards Buchberg and Durchholzen. At the Amberglift, turn right again and cycle along idyllic paths to the beautiful Walchsee. Circling the lake marks the turning point of the tour. Afterwards, turn left onto the main road at Seehotel Brunner, leave it again after a few hundred metres in the centre of Walchsee, and continue on quieter roads. The route then passes the impressive Schwemm moor landscape and the Walchsee-Moarhof golf course. Following the Staudinger Bach, you ride steadily downhill towards the west. From there, continue via Niederndorf and the Inn Cycle Path back to the fortress town of Kufstein.
