The Snow Rose Trail starts at the Madersberger Monument on Kienbergstraße and first leads through the mystical Elfenhain, before following the Kienbach upstream to the middle station of the Kaiserlift. From there, the path continues towards Berghaus Aschenbrenner along a scenic trail where, with a bit of attention, you can spot the white blossoms of the snow roses. Whether along the path or hidden in the forest, these little winter messengers make the hike a truly special nature experience. At the destination, Berghaus Aschenbrenner invites you to relax with a warm meal and a refreshing drink.
Snow roses bloom, depending on the weather, from December to the end of March.Please do not touch the snow roses and refrain from picking or taking any plants. They are strictly protected and under nature conservation. Treating our natural environment with respect is especially important to us – this way, this special experience can be preserved for future generations.
