Ski touring area Ackern

The starting points of the ski tours are at the Ackernalm (only from May, if passable, otherwise at the toll station car park), at the forest road to the Veitsbergalm and at the Ursprungpass in Landl. The Mariandlalm on the way to the Trainsjoch is a great place to stop for a bite to eat, with a huge apple strudel.

A ski tour is a great experience! However, when touring into unsecured, open terrain, you should entrust yourself to an experienced mountain guide. Detailed tour planning is essential. You can find exact tour routes in the Alpine Club's map "BY16 Mangfallgebirge Ost", which is available in shops.

Before your tour, inform yourself extensively about the current weather conditions and about the current avalanche situation report at www.zamg.ac.at & www.lawine.at or by telephone at +43 512 508 802255. As this is a free ski area, every tour skier is required to assess the avalanche situation himself. 

For the good of nature, please pay attention to the forest-wildlife protection areas so that the animals, which are weakened in winter, can go foraging in peace.

The Kufsteinerland Tourist Association accepts no liability whatsoever for the designation of the touring area. They only serve as an aid in planning the tour. The decision whether or not to go on the tour lies with the hiker himself.
