Starting at the car park of the Kaiserlift, which is closed in winter, the trails lead from there up to the town mountain. A popular place to stop for refreshments is the Weinbergerhaus, which is open especially for hikers in winter. Those who wish can go further and explore the old and disused ski area.
A ski tour is a great experience! However, when touring into unsecured, open terrain, you should entrust yourself to an experienced mountain guide. Detailed tour planning is essential. You can find exact tour routes in the Alpine Club's map "8 Kaisergebirge", which is available in shops.
