Trail round on the Feuerköpfl

You start in the part of Langkampfen belonging to Niederbreitenbach directly into the forest. A relaxed warm-up phase is in vain on the round, it goes directly steeply uphill on a trail in the direction of Bärnbad. In the next 3.5 kilometers you overcome the entire 780 meters of altitude. On the beautiful clearing near the Bärnbadhaus you can take a break at the chapel. If you want to continue directly, take a sharp right, following the trail into the forest. The next meters of altitude become steeper again before you reach the Höhlensteinalm, almost at the summit. Directly at the edge of the forest you turn right and after a short stretch you reach the Feuerköpfl. Here you can enjoy the view in the direction of the Bavarian Pre-Alps, down into the Inn Valley and the tempting Höhlensteinhaus. You have definitely earned a stop here. At the house, follow the signs in the direction of Unterlangkampfen. Follow the path first briefly across the pasture and then down into the forest again. After three crossings with a forest road, the Rudersburg appears on the signs. If you want, you can take this resting place with a view, or continue directly, now following the signs to Niederbreitenbach (not via the forest road, but in the direction of the waterfall). Past the waterfall, the forest trail leads via Kreit back to the starting point.
